I just orderd the pacesetter LT's for $420 shipped.. they'll be here soon, but i was wonderin would i need to retune the truck..
my truck has been tuned usin HP tuner/Dyno at a local shop, but i asked the owner if i need to re-tune it after LT's are in and he said "no need"
So, do i just save up for another tune/dyno and force him to tune it...
any help wold be appreciated.
Cheers!

Depends, some vehicles run fine after installing LTs and some run bad and need to be tuned.
I guess since you already ordered them is to just install them and see how it runs. If it runs bad, then get a retune.

I try to run the pcm's I do about 12.5-12.8a/f ratio, so if you add headers, it's not always necessary to get a retune. Your truck might set a misfire code, and if it's tuned on the edge it may need just a tad bit of gas on the topend.
You'll need the cats and rear O2's turned off if you're taking those off.

thanx for replying Zick and allen.
So, i'll just wait till i get em on the truck and see what happens..
The cats and "check engine light" have been takin out from my first tune.
I hope no misfire code happens.
