I have a 96 4x4 regular cab. It has a vortec 350 with a 5speed behind it. the truck runs good, but not good enough. I want to put an ls1 in it. Will an ls1 bolt up to my 5 speed, if not what other trans options do i have. I don't want a auto. A 6speed would be great, but want bolt up to my t-case. Could someone please list the parts I am going to need for this swap. How much can i expect the swap to cost if i do all the work myself? Thanks, Brett
