Hi, I took my one wheel wonder out, and put a eaton posi in. Still have stock 3.42's in it. My 0-60 was 6.9sec, now its 8.0sec. Is it slower because the power is going to two wheels instead of one? I cant understand what went wrong, Im thinking of pulling the posi back out and just switch the gears to 3.73. Can any one help?
Did you change the computer for the new gears?
Sounds like you got the bearings too tight or something else is amiss.
He wouldnt have to change the computer would he? The gears are still 3.42's.

There is nothing to calibrate to tell it that you are now running a LSD vs an open diff. Makes we wonder if you're getting driveline noise that the engine thinks is ping and has pulled timing out. Even with an open diff you are pulling with both tires. It just spins which ever is the easiest when you get into a poor traction situation. Open doesn't mean one wheel drive.
thanks for the info. I tried it the other day and got a 7.5 so its going back down. I plan to put 4.10's in it, in the near future. That well help get this big tank rolling :cool:
