Who makes turbo kits besides sts or parts like turbo manifolds or headers for a
2001 5.3 my truck is bone stock except a after cat exhaust. It ran a 15.222 its first time out @ 93mph. I guess i got bit by the bug. I wnat to be able to run as low as possible with out using a cage so i guess thats 11.99 and slower, right? what is your combo for a 12 second 1/4? I think a turbo setup would be the best for a DD. How do i get rid of the torque management crap. any help is great. thanks
Start out with a NelsonPerformance.com tune to rid you of torque management and gain some HP. Get yourself a stall convertor good for at least 2800 launch RPM. Lock the rear end with at least 3.73 gears. Get the power to the ground. :thumb:

I think that Allen is begining to sell the Livernois kits as well as STS. As far as how fast you can go it;s 11.50 before you need a roll bar .....
