Welcome, Nice Ride!!!!
Did you put that 4l80E in your denali, or did you mean 4L65E?
Damn, a 3/4 ton Denali?
Denali's are classified by most states as a 3/4 ton. I know mine is in PA.
However no Denali to date has came with a 4L80E from the factory, they currently have the 65E
nice ride...welcome to the forum :hshake:
Apologize for the slow response. Football/Nascar Sunday. The 4l80e had been installed.
So is the AWD system still used? Last I heard there hasnt been a way to adapt the 4L80E to a AWD transfer case like the ones that we have in our denali's and like the silverado ss's.
4L80E :bs: Thanks 03Sierra-sts for pointing that out. Did follow-up, had a painted 4L65E case and tranfer underneath and a work slip that said "spec'd 4L80E". My buddy who does great work, just upgraded the innards (clutches, bands, shaft ect.) and used that term. Yes, I ASSumed at the time :whack: . Just a great first impression for this forum.
I found the input gear for the AutoTrac case and the 80E a while back... look to see if the input gear in that T-case with a 60E is the same. If so, I'd bet you could swap...Quote:
