So i bought a 99 gmc sierra nbs that had a 4.3 in it but was swapped to a 4.8 its been put in already but didnt come with computer so i bought the 0411 computer at the junk yard and installed it and the obd picks it up as being from a 6.0 truck my question can i can install the pcm(computer) in it to temporarily start the truck and take it to get tuned since the guy that sold it to me said he put a cam in it but dont know what size it was
