Ok I Think I have read every post on this site, Got some good ideas :thumb: I do have a few questions about what shift kit to buy. Keep in mind my maine goal is to be able to get ride of the TM 100% when I get my tune. I allready have the Corvette servo, longer pin & 4th gear billet servo. IMO The shifts are just perfect for me. I am going to order a shift kit ASAP. But witch one? Can I just do the Correction kit (SK) and buy the 490 boost valve, Or is it vital I buy the HD kit. I dont mind the extra $50 for the HD kit as I know it will cost alot more if I make the wrong desicion. But do I need it?

The popular choice here is the HD-2. Unfortunately I don't know the exact difference between the two. I believe that the HD-2 is a more thorough(?) kit. More adjustability to tailor the shifts the way you want.
I installed the HD-2 and a laundry list of other parts, some of which you already have, because thats what was recommended by most here. I love the results and am extremely happy with the performance.
Hopefully a few others will chime in and be able to clear the air on the differences of the two kits. Some of the other parts you may want to consider are:
TG seperator plate
Sonnax check valve
Sonnax pinless fwd alum accumulator
Sonnax pinned 1-2 alum accum.
Sonnax pinless 3-4 alum accum.
Hope this helps.

the HD kit is firm enought i cant imagine how hard that SK is prob way to hard

SK doesn't have the boost valve, heavier accumulator springs, and the feed holes are smaller. It's more corrective, better than stock VB anyday.

Thanks for thoes who responded. Im still not sure what im going to do yet. The HD2 kit has worked so well for you guys, so im sure it wont hurt. I dont want it to shift like a Pro Street Car either... Like I said before I am happy with the way it shifts now with the cheapo mods I have done, and sure it will get better with what ever Tune I decied to go with. I know the HD kit is ajustable. So any suggestions on setup are welcome. I called a few Tranny shops today :nono: They wont even touch it and dont recomend it. They want to rebuild it with factory parts (even though I have no problems) and charge me more than what I could buy a built transmission for :flipoff: So I guess I will be doing the install myself. I have the tools, the shop & a lift. I have been an auto tech for 11 years now, But I mostly do Brakes, Stearing & suspension, Exhaust, HVAC and Engine Diagnostics. I do the normal maintnence at work flushes, filter gasket... etc But I usualy kill about one a year (not in error) just bad luck. So Im alittle nervous about this install.

The set up that I used was:
1-2 feed hole I left stock on a new TG Sep Plate. All other holes on the sep plate
were drilled to .093 as per instructions.
No spacers used on the 1-2 accumulator.
Sonnax check valve feed hole I drilled to .125
The shifts are quick under partial throttle. At wot the 1-2 and 2-1 shift barks the tires all other shifts are quicker and firmer. That is with a Nelson tune and TM removed. Without the tune it shifted better than stock but if not for the tune I would have increased the 1-2 feed hole on sep plate and tried 1 or 2 shims in the 1-2 accumulator.
Hope this helps. :thumb:

I already had my shifts firmed up through the computer and have a Corvette servo and TG HD-2 kit sitting around uninstalled. I would love to firm up the 1-2 shift at heavy throttle as it's a slow shifter then. TQ management has already been removed too so the HD-2 kit won't hurt it that way. I'm just wondering if I should install one or the other or both?

I had stock torque management with all the holes drilled .093 and vette servos and it shifted really nice. I tore the trans down and installed all the springs and pump booster valve, also. My 93 needs it now since the trans shifts like a slush box.
