It would bolt right in, part for part, connection for connection & all you would have to do is have the truck computer re-programmed. I think you could even use the original V-8 harness with minor changes, if any at all. BUT...since you are starting with a V-6 truck, it is a bit more work. The engine and tranny should still bolt right in, using the newer V-8 engine block mounts. Buy & install the newer('99 & up) V-8 engine/transmission harness. Make sure to make note of the transmission shift cable bracket & its location. You will need the trucks transmission cable bracket for sure. Exhaust could be utilized from a standard '99 & up V-8 truck as well. You can use the V-6 radiator. I think you will need the F-body dual electric fans. You will also need to dream up a air intake/MAF/air filter set-up. It's work, but the end result will be awesome. Gat
Isn't the 4.8/5.3/6.0 truck intake manifold generally better than the LS1 intake from the f-body?
