08 Silverado with Tree Hugger AFM 5.3 BAD LIFTER ,Time for motor swap

My 08 Silverado has the notorious 5.3 AFM bad lifter issue. With 160000 on the clock and more then a couple dents, replacing all lifters ect is out I think because of the miles.The 6000 doller Jasper engine plus labor is out because of the dents ect.So after some research my cheapest option looks !Ike a 4.8 from 08 which I can get for 1350 with 77000 on it and it's not AFM or alluminum hell yeah.. So ready to buy this motor and
know the ECM will need to be reflashed for no AFM , But what else ,please help I need this truck tagged in DE and I'm on my last Ttag due to codes it will not pass motor vehicle inspection or I would drive it as is until it blows up.
