GMT400 LS Harness Questions
I need help guys. I have a few questions regarding the splicing of the GMT400 to GMT800 harness. I could really use some help here guys, Im getting to my wits end on this swap.
Here are the last few connections I need help with:
Alright guys, its about damn time I wrap this project up. Its going on fourteen months, Im wearing out my welcome where the truck is stored, and I have a trip to Montana that I need to make in the middle of June. So, please, help where you can. Once Im done, Ill put a list together for '95 GMT400 LS swaps.
I want to keep all my emissions, so Im keeping the first O2 sensors and EVAP. I also want this to look as stock as possible, so I will be using the stock GMT400 fuse box. Since I want this to look as stock as possible, I want all the safety checks to work as well. All neutral safety switches will be used, all brake switch signals will be connected.
Below are a list of connections that I need double checked or confirmed where they connect to.
Should the GMT800 VSS be spliced into the GMT400 VSS that connects to the transfer case?
C100 A2 PNK Connect to where?
C100 B6 BRN/WHT I connected this to 46R. I believe it is correct.
C100 C2 YLW This is one of those safety switches, Im just not sure where it connects too.
C100 C3 BRN Splice into R15 BRN? - I believe this is the ammeter signal for the cluster.
C100 C5 GRN Connect to where? This is the coolant temperature indicator lamp output.
C100 D2 LTBLU/BLK CC Engine Signal. From what Ive read, this tells the cruise control to shut off because the clutch is being pressed.
GMT400 Fuse Block (FB) H7 / E2 Connect to where? This is a large gauge pink wire that went to the coil
FB J7 PNK Connect to where?
58B This is DATA, Im assuming its going to the new OBD-II connector under the dash.
33B PPL TCC Would this connect to the purple "brake switch" coming form the ABS connector?
43R a/c - Does this splice into one of the GMT400 A/C wires? If so, which one?
50R VSS - Is this the signal to the cluster. If it is, then I can get rid of it because the VSS from the transfer case connects to the C100 @ E6 & E7, and those two give the speed reading to the speedo.
Purple "Brake Switch" to ABS. Where does this connect to? 33B?
"ENG-I" PNK to FB. Where?
"ECM-B" ORG to FB. Where?
"ECM-I" PNK to FB. Where?
Last but certainly not least, where do I connect the gray wire that connects the oil pressure, coolant temp sensor, and fuel pump?
