2008 to 2004 Oil Pan swap?

I have a 2004 4.8L engine i am swapping into my 1996 OBS truck. The engine has a cracked oil pan on it. I have a oil pan pick up tube and dip stick froma 2008 5.3 LC9 engine. Can I swap this onto the 4.8L engine? I have noticed the sump depth is probably a half inch different requiring the pick up tube and dip stick also to be swapped. Along with windage tray, as the cut out for the filter area appears to be slightly different.

There seems to be enough differences I wonder if I should use this pan at all? Any body else have a opinion on this?
