Oil pan removal

I have a 1992 chevy pickup 2wd with a 5.3 swap. I was wondering if anyone has changed there oil pan(truck oil pan)while motor was in truck? I just want to know if there is room to change pan and get it around pickup tube while motor is in truck.

just depends how far back and high the engine is sitting between the frame.
When I do mine personally, no way it'll come off.

Worst case, you'll need to free the engine from the mounts, support the engine enough for it to clear.

Thanks I had a feeling I would need to raise engine.
