I can't get my #7 injector to completely seat. I'm sure its causing a vacuum leak, but would it also cause a ticking sound?
Its a 95 5 speed 4.8 swap. And tips or tricks to get it in there? All the rest are seated properly.

lube it up with some oil. mine slipped right in.
Ignore the wiring. Still in the process of cleaning it up.

Done tryed lubing it up, even put downward pressure and taped light with a rubber mallet.
Can't see any thing in the way, the rubber oring was on like the others. What gives?
united rentals. they got indusrial size jack hammers. best rule of thumb ever... "if it dont fit, force it!"
Worse comes to worse I have a spare set of injectors laying around I could swap and see new they fit.
i would try to swap it with another one.
Did you check to see if theres anything in the hole. Old O-Ring or maybe the little cup at the end of the injector stayed in there?
Swapped it out, other one fit perfect.
