Question about heads and intake on a 5.3L

Question... can i bolt an LS1 intake manifold to my 5.3L heads or do I need to run 241 heads? I know the LS6 and LS1 intake/heads are swappable but not sure about the 5.3L

I hear the L33 5.3L has heads similar to the 243..

Also I searched and found a link to a set of headers on summit that will fit an OBS truck for an LS1. will they also work with a 5.3L? not sure if the exhaust ports that they bolt up to are different sized on the LS1 vs the 5.3L

Wow so much stuff to clean up here.
LS1intake will fit, but will net zero gains.
L33 has 243/799 heads which are the same thing however the ls6 243s have slightly better valves.
The headers will fit a LS1 the same as a 5.3 or essentially any gen 3 LS for that matter.

Not concerned with HP gains as much as Looks.. It is a show truck and I like the look of the LS1 intake manifold with plastic valve covers better than the Truck intake with the Vortec 5300 cover.
