I'm wanting to install an electric fan on my 02 Silverado, 5.3, Radix.
Does anyone have a recommendation as far as cfm needed, brand name, etc.
What has worked for you?
Thanks, Jim

Got a set of new '05 GM fans for sale email me. They fit the 34" radiator which it sounds like you will be needing anyways.....
I'd did the 05 fans. It looks alot cleaner than anything else.

I have a brand new set of 2005 electric fans to install along with a 34" rad with dual end-coolers and a HUGE trans cooler. :thumb:
Does anyone have any pics? Are these GM fans a kit or something available from GM Performance Parts or ????Quote:

I got mine from G & R Auto Parts. they were selling them new for $225. They also had some ebay auctions where I got mine for $190.
So how much power do you gain from the conversion to e-fans?
I have heard some outrageous claims and some resonable ones as well.
I"m thinking about 10 to 12 hp max. I have no facts to base that on other than one claim that I read that said "dyno tests prove 17 hp gain".Quote:
