advice needed
I've hot an lq4/4l80e. 222/226 597/598 113 with a stock verter. Its a dog down low till about 3k. I have aset of 243s i want to put on. Should I put the 243s on and see how I like it or replace can with something smaller and do the heads then. It also has a little surge in it especially in reverse. NP tuned also

Get a converter and your problem is solved! This will also help with the surge.

You need a smallish stall. Maybe 2800ish. That is a great cam for your setup. Those heads will help only a little bit, but a stall will make a night and day difference. Get in contact with circle d. They can get you taken care of and they have a low cost stall for the 80e now. You might need some fine tuning adjustments if your having surge issues unless its a big problem.

x2 on the stall i ran my cam for about 3 months without a stall and it ran good but the stall made it seem like it has way more that the cam did by its self.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll go ahead and do stall first
