my 03 silverado keeps draining the battery over 2 days of no driving it.... turns out its the cluster thats draining it..... i tried replacing all the stepper motors and now it still drains it!!!! i tried the cluster from my 04 and it fine with this cluster installed!! anybody know what else could be wrong with the 03 cluster???? Thanks!
How did you come to the conclusion that its the cluster that is draining the battery?
check amps going through battery cable and started pulling fuses!!! which ended up being the cluster fuse... then unplugged the cluster the truck was fine! no more dead battery!
faulty stepper motor. dismantle and ohm each out. were any gauges off by a lot or jumpy?
ill have to check that out... there all new stepper motorss but i will check to see if any are jumpy!!!
