Its a sound processor and equalizer. Goes between your headunit and the amplifiers to send the correct frequencies to the correct speaker, and can equalize the sound so it sounds good. The display is so you can tune from the drivers seat.

I wish, lol. I had this paired with some old school Rockford Power amps and it was crisp and clear. Its been sitting a while and I probably won't spend that much on audio stuff ever again, bills suck.
