2 CTS sensors, what do I do?

I am so close to driving my truck I can taste it. I have the LM7 in and the carb conversion is complete. I have a TPS sensor wired to the carb, I have the VSS hooked up as well. I noticed there are two coolant temperature sensors, one on the drivers side head and one that was on the TBI 5.7 intake next to the thermostat. Of course the new LM7 dosent have a port for the other CTS sensor and I believe my Trans needs that signal correct? Can I just splice the wire to the one hooked up on the head or do I need to tap into the water system somewhere for the 2nd sensor?

I don't see why your trans would need a signal for what the coolant temp of the engine is......

remove the allen head bolt on the rear passenger side head and you can put another sensor there with an adapter fitting

If he is still using the trans from the truck it will not let the torque converter lockup until the engine reaches a certain temp.

I thought converter lockup was controlled by the PCM. ?????

I am using the original 4L60E. I have it running but it is stuck in Limp mode. I can't seem to find the purple/wht wire that runs from the old distributor to the ECM, I need to run a tach wire to it. I guess I can order another adaptor for the passenger head. I was hoping not to spend money, but it is worth it being that I have a vigilante lock up converter.
