Anybody ever run one of these? It looks identical to the $1,100 Magnum 80mm.

Almost like the magnum but t4
Try it out lol
i had a GT45 on my '04 with the same ar as this one....it was a beast so say the least on the lq4.
we've only ran the magnum and if that one is anything like the magnum, it's a great turbo.
works good on all variations.
you'll need to get it spooling a little more off the line, but the way you built your turbo hotpipes, merging together, your truck will have some badass topen and midrange.
I prefer the little bit of lag, if you wanna call it that, over the instant boost that comes in on a small setup.
get it and run it! just a side benefit, if it's similar to the other, it'll sound like a damn jet coming down the road, they sound awesome!!!
That's what I like to hear!! Well it has been ordered. Now to order vbands and what not. Allen, I have a question for you. I would rather not run a vband on the compressor outlet for packaging reasons. Since you have dealt with these before, at least the magnum version, do you think it is possible to grind the vband flange down and slip a 3" silicone coupler on it? Would you happen to have one at the shop that you can measure and tell me if a 3" coupler will fit over it after grinding the flange a little? I want to leave just a little bit of the flange on there to give the clamp something to hold on to. Thanks!!
As long as the outlet has a bead for the hose to hold onto, it'll be fine.
You sir are the man!!
