whew! Close call

I was on my way to work this morning, feeling a little ornery. Got caught by a red light so I sat there waiting for it to turn green and when it did I rolled into about half throttle the truck launched pretty hard and fast. My 408 with 3600 stall is really loose so the truck came out of the hole from the stoplight like it was shot out of a cannon. :rock: I got up to the speed limit and rolled off the throttle. I looked in my rearview mirror and one of Fort Worth's finest was racing up behind me, he obviously was right behind me at the light. I didn't get any strobes or anything. He ended up going around me after following me for about 1/2 mile. :yippee:

I know the feeling; its like getting into a fist fight and having the jitters afterwards! but i have learned from previous tickets! Always, always look for them, even unmarked

Ive learned after 7 license suspensions, i really dont give a $hiz where the cops are:lol:

I had a little run with a camaro on downtown fort smith right in front of one. The camaro lost, so I guess that's why he pulled him over instead of me.

I came on hwy 183 from 20 with a little authority and was doing 120ish in my camaro the other day and thought I was ok till I noticed the same thing a ft worth PD hot on my tail flashing me down, I pulled over to a complete stop and as he got up behind me he jerked left came drove up to me window and said "Cut that shit out!!" and drove off ..... Gotta love ft worth PD!!!!!

Lucky ducky!! When I first got the truck going after the turbo build I turned onto a street and when it came into boost a little it started squealing the tires and there was a cop coming over a hill right behind me. I know he heard bc my buddy 2 cars in front of me heard Haha. He was on my ass for about a half a mile then backed off. One of the many times my police sticker saved my ass

I have done this countless times on a smaller level of course since I have never had a fast vehicle lol.
