I finally got my ls1 running in my ck 1500 and i had allen at nelsons reprogram my pcm.I only have the stock hedders on there right now and only the drivers side o2 sensor is installed scince the other side goes in the pipes. My exhaust guy is on vacation so ill get it completed next week.Allen told me that i only needed to install the front 2 o2 sensors.How does this affect the performance having only 1 o2 sensor hooked up.I drove the truck and i wasnt impressed with the power at all it wont even spin lol.any ideas please help Thanks Timmy

Double check the throttle linkage and be sure you are getting 100% throttle opening at the throttle body. An LS1 will spin the tires off the rims unless you are running 35" or taller tires or 3.08 gears behind an automatic. Also, are you sure you are getting the right amount of fuel pressure? If you're low on FP then you won't have the power. Do you have a catalytic convertor? If so, are you sure it isn't plugged up?

i dont have any exhaust on at all right now just stock hedders with 4l60e 3.73 posi shortbed 4wd 1500 285/75/16

i have a fuel rail from S&P and i checked it with a gauge at 60

Did S&P install the corvette regulator in the fuel rail? If so, did you hook the vacuum line up? Just a thought............................. :duh:

Since you're running wide open with no pipes you are running waaaaay lean. The engine needs some back pressure. Running wide open with stock manifolds will also burn valves so don't do it.

S&P did install the regulator and NO i dont have the vacuum line hooked up does it hook up to the original return on the old ls1 rail ?? If not where does it need to be hooked up to?? thanks

You should be able to hook the fuel regulator into the driver side of the throttle body or even the back of the intake.
