I just had to search the audio section for some of my own advice on the wiring to a Bose factory sub. It's a sad sad day. Just figured I would post this so everyone could point and laugh.

That's just a sign you've forgotten more than a lot of people know. You're officially an expert.
Sucks getting older, memory, grey hair, the list goes on!
it's called CRS syndrome....
I could actually remember more when I still smoked pot. Then again, I have been out of the car stereo biz for about 5 years now.
Well damn, that sucks. You are one of the guys I was going to go to when the sound system was going to get installed in my truck. I know nothing about that stuff.
No worries man. I haven't lost my touch. I'm about to go out right now and install 4ga for two amps, a 4-channel, and some components in the magicbus, and install the other set in the wife's Yukon. I just couldn't remember what wires went to the factory sub in the magicbus, I was going to try wiring in the factory sub to the rears on my 4-channel until I get real subs.
I can still install a remote start and stereo in these trucks with my eyes closed.
I had a little issue like that when I was wiring the stereo on the boat. Could not for the life of me remember what ohms I was wiring at. I had to google. I'm like you though, stereos are the last thing on my list of priorities right now.
I forget crap, lose crap cant get outta bed, im balding, got grays, no worries, but once the ole weener quits workin im offing myself.
