2005 LS1 Crate Engine 33k Miles Casting # 12561168 (Denton, Texas)
LS1 crate engine details
Block Casting: 12561168 LS6 Block
Cylinder Heads: 12564241 2.00/1.55 Int/Exh Valves 66.7cc Chamber Volume
Camshaft: 12561721 196/207 .479/.467 116 LSA
The engine was built in 2005 according to the paperwork that came with it. I bought this new with 0 miles and installed it in my truck, currently has 33,330 miles on it. No modifications were ever made to the engine, its never been opened, 100% stock. Engine is sold as a long block only! What is a long block? Engine block, and cylinder heads, nothing else is included. If you have a 99-07 classic truck this is a direct swap and you can use all the stock truck accessories and intake to run this engine, no oil pan will be on the engine when picked up.
Currently still in my truck so it can be heard and driven if anyone would like to see it. This truck is not my daily driver anymore so the mileage will not be changing much. Price is $3000 somewhat negotiable- but pretty firm and fair for a 33K mile LS1. I may be interested in a partial trade with cash, let me know what you have. Last month I had the truck on a dyno and it made 308HP to the wheels (275/60/18 tires), estimated HP at flywheel is 385. Do a cam swap on this engine and much more power is available.
For additional cost I can convert to 58 tooth crank and LS2 front cover so it can be used in a NNBS truck.
In case you missed it...this was a brand new engine (not a reman) when I got it, its never been in any other vehicle but my 2004 avalanche. Reason for sale is I'm upgrading to LS2 & LS3 blocks in my trucks. PM me with any questions.
