If I mount my tac module to my firewall, wheres the best location to go through to the gas pedal?
My vote would be where the throttle cable comes through.
What year vehicle are u doing the swap on
Its a 95 GMC Sierra.
I went where the old cruisecontrol wires entered the firewall
If I enter through the hole where the gas pedal cable is, where's a good place to get a grommet?
I'm going to try to drill a hole where the gas pedal cable comes through the firewall. Here's a picture of the DBW cable and its size. I need help finding a rubber grommet for it. It looks to be a 1" 3/4 diameter. Any help would be great.

A cleaner option is to not drill the hole that big. Instead d-pin one of the connectors. Then, the harness will fit thru a small hole. Once they're thru, just repine it. Doesn't matter which end you d-pin but id recomend doing the tac connector just because its a little easier than the pedal connector. Good luck!
Actually, I think both ends use metripak terminals. If you haven't depinned these before, a piece of welding wire sharpened to a point works decent as a release tool.
