As far as I know, this has not been done. I will be attempting the swap in the next few days and will keep a nice record of how it's done so others can benefit.

just because it's not on the internet doesn't meant it hasn't been done, jeeeez, hhaah jfwy!!
we've done it, works fine, lmk if you have any questions.
Keep posted for sure. That cam I have makes like no vacuum and we just upgraded to a bigger Hurricane deck boat and stopping/ boat ramp situations are sketchy at best.
Yea I took ours out for the first time this weekend and thought about swapping back to the stock cam during the week so I would have vacuum for this coming weekend. My 3.42, no vac, 4.8 and not quite enough stall I am afraid to let anyone back the boat in the water. And the wife doesnt know the boat yet so I am doing it all myself.
Be stoppin on a dime!
One of my questions is what do you do about the sensor on the booster? I am getting a "service brakes soon" if I hold the brakes for quite a bit of time which I am guessing due to the low vac. I called Erica at NP and she said they were not able to turn this off. If converting to the Hydroboost wouldn't you continue to get this message?
ill say this.. on my NBS conversion i found
1) at least a 1/4 of sloppiness in the pedal before the brakes begin to apply.. the pedal literally feels loose before you touch it. I have not read of anyone fixing this.. but i have ideas
2) DOUBLE CHECK the booster you get, because the part numbers for some of the lines are DIFFERENT.. you may think you have one from a 2500 HD truck but in reality it may be one from an express van. The HARDLINE on the DRIVERS side of the booster is the one im referencing..
3) when mounting the new booster, as we all know, the bolt holes all line up .. except one.. make it easy on yourself, cut away the rubber covering on the inside of the truck.. that way its easier to see the bolt.
