some questions for ya all
ok heres the low down. 95 chevy tbi being swapped to 2002 6.0 from a yukon denali. i have a nelson harness and ecm.
my questions are....
1 the nelson harness didnt come with a connection for the oil pressure sensor. does the ecm need to see oil pressure? can i swap the 6.0 sensor which is behind the intake by the cam sensor, with the 95 tbi sensor, that way my gauge works and if ive read correctly, my fuel pump will work with out further wiring?
2 the nelson harness came with fuel pump relay. would i be better off wiring the fuel pump to this relay vs keeping the factory wiring as it is now? if i need to use the relay how do i wire that up?
3 im using the 95 tranny and it is a pwm version. to get the tq convertor bolted up i know i have to slot the holes a bit in the 5.3 flex plate. now to bolt that to the motor it goes spacer (ring towards convertor) - flex plate (dished away from engine)- crank shaft?
thanks a lot guys. this site is one of the friendliest around. loads of good info and everyone is willing to help. im also open to tips and suggestions also if you guys got some.
once i get the pickup up and running ill give a full back round on the truck and the process of putting it in.
