What kind of upper control arm bolts are in your truck? I started with a '91 1500 2wd, and it just had standard bolts in the slotted holes.
I bought a frame from a '90 1500 2wd and it had those cam bolts w/ the eccentrics on them. I wanted to use those but the chevy dealer cannot find them in the parts book.
So, I'm looking to see what everone elses truck has installed, as I"m a little uncomfortable w/ just standard bolts in the slotted holes.
thanks

the factory bolts in the upper a-arms are round. When you buy an alignment kit it comes with a bolt that has a flat on it and two washers for alignment. Don't fret it, there just hasn't been an alignment done on it before.

Great, thanks.
Now I can get to work finishing up my chassis, if only the rest of my parts would show up!

You'll have to knock out the alignment plugs after taking out the original bolt for alignment. If the hole isn't slotted they won't be able to align the front end without charging you for the service of removing them for you.
