Idle issues
Our turbo crew cab is having some issues. After rolling to a stop the truck idles really low then a reduced engine power comes on and the truck dies. Only at idle. Checked fuel pressure, proper voltage to ignition system, no vacuum leaks, no codes. We got it tuned by nelson and it ran great but just recently started acting up.

Check the MAP sensor for proper readings. You need to swap in a known good one for a few minutes to see if the issue goes away. Its what we learn in science classes, you have to have a control environment to find when something changes. If you have a speed density tune controlled by a MAP sensor then you need copies of a log when you were running correctly and logs of how its running now for comparisons. If you can put a new MAP in there and it fixes it then next time you would have a way to tell when readings are going south. Any time I log a run in my truck I store it on the laptop and never delete it so that when things aren't right I can compare the changes in readings. Logging software is priceless.

Nice, forgot about the map sensor. Will the map sensor off my 07 nnbs work on the 10 nnbs?
-
not if its boosted and SD tuned. You must have a 2bar or 2.5 bar sensor in there for boost reference via SD tuning. That is why you'd get a REP warning. YOu need to contact NP and see how they tuned it.

It's Maf tuned.
I bet it's a terminal issue with the throttle body.
-
That dont sound too good. You mean there is something wrong with the whole throttle body assembly?
-
The wire harness going into the tb nout the tb itself.

Oh. Ill check that out later on today n let you know what happens.:thumb:
