Dilemma

Ok, so I'm tearing my truck apart doing a full rebuild on it. Fuel, suspension, engine, trans, wiring, etc. I want it to haul ass!!
My truck is a '94 and I really like it! I have quite a few pounds less compared to a new truck. The track is all about power and weight ratio.

I then get asked from the boss, "why don't you just buy an '05 reg cab and fix it up; get one with the 4.8/auto and put that in the farmtruc and sale it and put the built engine/80e/turbo in the new one"?

What a decision :whack:

So my dilema is; put a little bit of effort and money in the ol' 94 and make it look good and haul ass, OR, buy a new one that already looks good and make it faster.

What a hard decision; there's just something about an older truck running fast.

Maybe both, who knows.

I say make both of them fast! :burnout: I would put the 6.0 in the farmtruc because of the power to weight ratio. If you want the fastest weight really makes a big diffence. I''m sure you will have them both haulin ass one way or another.

How fast do you want to run your truck is fast enough, wait a minute your truck will never be fast enough, It will never end!!!!!! GOOD LUCk :rock:

Keep the '94, old boxes never designed to run are far more exciting. Just like GMCwantsLS1. :smile:

i say keep the old. itll save money and it shouldnt cost too much to make it a ride anyone would love to be seen in.

I say finish the 94, and by the way Allen the tune is working out great.

Finish the Farmtruck. It's become sort of infamous, and people will like to see it looking and running good.

When you get that where you want it you'll need a new shop/project vehicle. I would think that most of your customers are in NBS trucks, and that is where the majority of your market is. The NBS truck will attract more attention from potential customers who want thier truck to run like yours.

Then you will be able to park the farmtruck in the lobby of your speed shop as a showcase vehicle.
