Well went up to LACR last night (Wed) saw a grey 99-02 regular cab shortbed truck up there looked pretty stock with exhaust. It lined up with a newer Tacoma and I figured the chevy would have spacked the tacoma pretty hard, long story short the regular cab chevy ran a 16.3 and the Tacoma ran about 16.9. They lined up about 2-3 times and each time the chevy beat the tacoma but not by much. I was dissapointed are these tacomas fast or do you think he had some mods?
I havent lost to a tacome yet....

Have you talked to Jesse lately? I can never seem to catch that biatch online anymore.
What did it have in it? Maybe it had a 4.3L V6, or a 4.8L stock. I don't think the tacoma's are fast at all, i wonder how that new nissan titan is going to run, something like 345 hp , not too shabby.

Yo Mac an Chingon, sorry guys it was a last min thing, i got home from work at 6 and a friend sprung it on me last min, i didnt even bring my truck. I still want to get a cruise going or something up PCH or somewhere even if its to the LACR, Mac whats your # so next time i can give you a call, i got Chings # i think. I havent talked to Jesse since the 1st time we met at LACR. The chevy had a v8 not sure if it was a 4.8 or 5.3 but i know it wasnt a v6. Every time he came to race he lit up the tires really good. Not sure if the tacoma had any mods he was always in the far lane an i couldnt really hear if he was SC'd or anything since the chevy was always lighting them up haha.
Lets set a date to go up to LACR i wanna see guys go at it (ching,mac) :smile:
