OK to tune-out evap system?

I have error code p0449 evap solenoid error, and I'm getting a tune from blackbear next week. I was thinking about having him just delete the evap system all together. Are there any negative side effects to doing this? I've removed all other emissions from the vehicle and am tempted to throw this out as well. I put very few miles on the truck and just want a no-nonsense truck that will be dependable. Thanks!

Really no one? I searched but no one mentioned either way if it effects mileage or anything. I'm planning on leaving everything intact, but always open with the filter catching debris but still allowing the tank to breathe. Any suggestion for against doing this?
