Hey guys just wanted to check in and say hey to everyone. I came here to read and learn as much as I can about LS swaps.

I've got a rather interesting project I'd like to tackle, an LS swap into a 99 Ford Ranger.

Anyway, I hope to learn as much as I can and hopefully be able to get this done one day. My buddy has a 5.3L out of his Z71 I can get for practically nothing, so that would be a little advantage.

Ls in a ranger is old news hahah, welcome theres a dude on here thats done that swap but on an older model.

Haha yeah I know it wouldn't be the first, I don't care. I'm just looking at the options, either a 5.0L or an LS.

The LS has more of a cool factor, but either option will meet my power goals. I just want a truck that it fun to drive, and reliable enough to drive everyday. I'm really undecided, sometimes I want to do something like this, and then other times I want to say screw it and go buy an FSC.
