So I get pulled over on 380...

Originally I thought I was speeding but turns out I wasn't. The guy pulls me over (black DPS officer) saying I had tinted tails. Then walks to the front of my truck looking at my HIDs and front plate I guess. THEN tells me my tint is illegal. So I just said F it in my head and replied "I'm a state inspector I know what's legal and illegal on my truck" so he replied "are you wearing contacts today" I said "no why". He follows that up with acccording to your DL you need to drive with perscription lenses. I'm like "really they are right here". Btw I only need them to see far away and at night. I had my sunglasses on. He tells me he is goin to let me off for all the other violations but ticket me for not following the condition of my DL. I was so furious mad that is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. So basically on this whole ran I would like to tell the Collin County DPS people that's awesome you ticket me for such a BS thing while 10 pounds of dope probably passed by us while you were bothering with my lights!!!!!!

I would further more like to say the guys with Grayson County DPS are awesome. They don't write BS tickets and are awesome customers of Goodyear in Sherman. :) had to plug that LOL

Go fight it. Should be an easy win. Get your eye doctor to attest to you only needing them at night.

I hate having that condition on my license. I've had to dig a contact out of my eye 3 times for stupid cops.

So you're mad that you got pulled over and given only one citation instead of multiple. And for getting that only one when you weren't following the provision of your privilege to drive?

I hate when cops abuse the authority, if im breaking the law by all means pull me over but tint laws are absurd, id never heard of getting a ticket because of the vision restriction but prolly cus I dont have any, you shoulda told that dick cop that you recently had lasik surgery and havent updated.
