Problem with GM headrest DVD in 03 Denali

Anyone ever take one apart?

The factory headrests are sturdy and the forward adjustment is solid and works great.

I replaced the factory headrests with the GM DVD headrests and the forward adjustment is loose and very easy to move.

I want to take it apart and see if I can change the spring (not sure if its a spring but it feels as if it is) to a stiffer spring so I can get the sturdy feel of the factory headrest.

Looking for info from anyone that might have some input on this.

When I looked for a system for my 03 Denali this GM system was the one that came up as being the right one for my truck.

I purchased the truck used without the DVD system and added the system. I also added the GM Navigation system from an 05 Denali
