Wrecked the Truck
So the other night I was leaving work, and I went around a hard 90 at like 20mph... my home made drag slicks hit an oily spot, and the back end came out from under me and I couldnt steer out of the slide, (the whole road is pretty much an oil slick when it rains) and before I knew it I hit a pole.

I'm gonna attempt to build a front bumper similar to BigMac's

But, at least I got to see the giant light pole fall across 4 lanes of traffic

Dang man at least no one got hurt!!!

yea... The pole almost came down on a taxi. It missed it by maybe 5 feet. Now I just have to decide if I'm going stock hood/fender(s). I've always liked the Prerunner fenders and of course a cowl hood.

Sorry to see you wrecked your truck man.
That bumper on my white truck was easy to make - that sucker took out thousands of construction barrels, small trees, a BMW in Houston traffic and a Honda in a Target parking lot. Frame mounts were cut out of 1/2" plate with a plasma using the factory mounts as a template. SCH 80 pipe main that I cut a notch in the back side, heated the center with a rosebud to match the body line and trussed the rear with heavy wall square tubing. Top tube was 0.120 DOM tubing - I made a few that were a bit closer in the center with side supports. I do not recommend Chromoly for any type of bumper. PM me for any suggestions.

We were wondering why we saw you with no grille or bumper the other day haha.
