Any clue what kinda rpm range this cam is supposed to be in? I assume from your comment this cam was designed for turbo use? valve issues with otherwise stock 5.3?
This cam will work well both NA or turbocharged. As far as valve clearance on a 5.3L I think it will fit but I cannot guarantee it. 5.3L should take just as much cam as a ls1, or 6.0L. Actually a tad more clearance if you have the small valve heads. The 4.8L would be the one to watch due to the long rod/short stroke. RPM range is a tad broader than a 220/220, .580'', 114.
It's for referance I have a 219/230 .609/.604 cam in my 5.3 with zero issues.
