ls1 help

So I have a ls1 out of a 99 Camaro... im putting it in a 93 gmc 1500 4x4. Im looking to use it for offroading once in a while. Im looking to put a aftermatket cam.... any suggestions? ? Also what else do I have to change to accomadate the the cam?

i have a comp 216/220 .525 .532 114lsa and some ls6 valve springs sittin on the shelf in my shop...all with less than 1,000 miles on them. shoot me a pm if your interested
