4L60E servo applications

Okay Dudes, here's the scenario,

• LR4 + Nelson Tune
• 4L60E, not fully rebuilt, but with upgraded accumulator pistons, servo check valve, separator plate, etc
• Full Transgo Kit (HD-2 or PSK)
• 3000-3200 stall TC (ex. Yank Pro Truck or TCI)
• Sensible feed hole sizes in separator plate
• Big Cooler
• Tranny Pan w/ 2 extra qts
• 70% city/30% hwy daily driving
• Towing 3000 Lbs max, 600 mi/month, mostly highway
• May hit the track once or twice a month in the future

For a good balance of nice firm shifts, drivability and durability, generally speaking, which is more optimum:

1) Corvette Style Intermediate Servo + Superior OD Super Servo + 1 spacer (from Transgo kit) in 2nd accumulator body

2) Superior Intermediate Super Servo + Superior OD Super Servo + No spacers in 2nd accumulator body

Would adding a spacer in either case be too radical?

The extra cost of the Superior pieces are not an issue with me, so that doesn't matter here.

And from what I&#39;ve seen of your posts, I&#39;m not sure why you wouldn&#39;t consider your self pretty much an expert in this stuff. I&#39;d value your take on this subject.

From what Ive read, the Superior Intermediate is too frim. I have the corevette serve and it is firm enough. I am not sure what spacers if any were used in the HD2 kit. After buying my transmission parts and before installing them, my tranny failed on me. So I had it rebuilt with basically all aftermarket parts, and it is now built. 1-2 is a little strong for me, but I am getting used to it. I have only had it since tuesday late afternoon. Probably in a week or so I will be completely used to it and would not bother me.

In the original post, when I say "2nd accumulator", I probably should a said 1-2 accumulator. Just in case anyone was tryin&#39; to figure out what the hell I&#39;m talking about.

Have also heard the Intermediate Super Servo could be over kill. I read in post by Hit Man that if you have a high enough stall, it may work out okay. I&#39;m just looking for some "on the road" experiences and any other bits of advice about this.
