Audio que i think thats what they r called if I remember right makes some sick stuff...
I have a single AudioQue. Not a shallow mount sub though.
As far as I know they dont make a shallow mount. I know that Alpine has recently released a Type R shallow mount. I used to have a full size Type R that I loved.
What ever you choose make sure that you get a well built box and power the subs well.
What are you looking for as far as sound quality? Just bass or something super clean? Travis's Audioque is a great all around sub. I'll be going with two Digital Designs 1508s when I do the system in my crew cab.
Im actually thinking about getting something going for my girls car....thinking one or two DD 1508's in the back hatch. Its already got decent bass from the factory, but its not real crisp sound. And since the car will become my driver some day I want a good quality sound too.
I'll be running two on about 750 RMS each. 2 ft^3 @ 35 hz.
I found a box that isn't a shallow mount, that goes under the back seat..they fire forward instead of down, think I'm gonna go with that..and a set of kicker comps
I looked into a forward fire box and decided to go with a custom built box for under the rear seat. I have a full size 12 and it POUNDS.
Im telling you a pre-fab box is not the best way to go. Youre in OKC correct? Justin may be able to direct you to a good place to have a box built.
Yea I'm in okc
OKC is three hours from me. I really don't have any connections up there and I'm the only one around here that builds them.
