I have the locked computer out of my old 06 1500 from nelson performance. i missed the return date and am stuck with the core. I now have a 2011 and have no use for it.

why is it locked?
Most likely Nelson locked the tune. Its a feature in Hptuners that keeps people from changing the tune that he put on it.
^^ Correct! It is done so noone but nelson can adjust the tune so that a dealer or etc cant put the stock tune inQuote:

Well its the one for my old 1500 that i put a 6.0 in and had a 150 shot and 3600 stall.. but that wouldnt matter becasue until Nelson changes it, its locked onto that VIN #. The purpose for someone to buy this one would be so than can send it back to nelson to keep there core
or use in an OBS conversion with the same combination. :)
