Control arms
So I was talking with Devin today and we got on the subject of how my truck needs to get out of the nose bleed section. After talking about how there were things that are on the list of necessity that I have to take care of before I can even think about drop spindles. Truck is 12 years old and has 248k miles on it and really needs an alignment. I had new one piece HD tierods put on after the whole ordeal with the wheel coming off on the freeway. Helped for a little while but it needs ball joints. I had planned on getting brand new upper and lower control arms with ball joints from rockauto.com to fix that. Devin says why not just go with DJM drop control arms? So I looked them up on summit and they dont list anything for 4WD trucks. Did some googling and searching on other boards and found that the DJM p/n CA2001L3 is supposed to fit all 4WD/AWD trucks and suv's.
Just want to confirm that this part will work for a 4wd t-bar truck. And also if I need to get the matching uppers or if I can get away with stock uppers and the drop lowers?
:thanks:

wow that should drop it low man. Don't see why it wouldn't fit, but I don't have any experience with it neither.

They are only 3" drop arms.....And if its too low I can always turn the tbars up a little bit.
-
Yeah only 3in's is way lower than it sits right now. I am pretty sure your dad is going to make fun of you for lowering it at all.

I really dont care if he does. His truck has a turbo and gets out run by mine all day long. :D

Anyway...quit crapping in my thread!
Anyone who can really help me?

Well I did some more looking on DJM's site and that is the part number that the have listed for 4WD trucks and suv's. So looks like thats what Im gonna be doing hopefully. If its too low like i was saying i can just turn up the tbars a little bit to give me some room.

Dropping a 4x is gayer than lifting a 2wd...
