Has anyone run into this. I'm trying to connect the 86 K5 brake booster vacum line to the port in the back of the truck intake (2004 6.0 LQ9). It has a flange on it, even the 5/8 id hose will not fit over. What kind of fitting can be used here?

it should have a piece on the end, either a plug or a piece that moves in and out, and is removed by pushing the collar in, then the plug slides out.
might have to remove the plug and thread in a brass fitting.
