I would simply reply, "NO" and leave it at that.

Yep. More than likely a scam. I select the "don't show email" thing so I don't get that crap. Also, spell out a couple of numbers of your phone number. If you don't, they'll call you too. The first time I put the Denali on there I didn't spell it out and got calls like "we can help you sell your 2008 gmc Sierra Denali". I spelled out a few numbers and they haven't called back.

Like he said a "no" reply and block the email address... I get calls from cali ppl wanting to sell my truck
-
Funny when they have to tell you their life story that throws up a big red flag! Just say it is already sold or whatever you want and go on to the next person.
-
Why not scam back? Go get a PO box number. Get the check sent there, see if a check shows up. Try and cash it, keep the wheels.

I sold a piece of music recording equipment to a guy on ebay and got a very similar reply from the eventual buyer. He was just a super proper kind of guy but everything checked out. Just call the cell number he left for you and tell him about your reservations with dealing the way he wants. If he really wants what youre selling then he will adjust. But I wouldn't give out that address until you speak with him
