80e drive shaft??
Im doing an 80 swap on my scsb and wanted to know what you guys are doing for driveshafts, Id like to just get mine shortend but do they make a u joint that will work with the 80e yoke? I can shorten it for about 120 bucks just wanted to know if anyone has done this before?

I bought a long 80e yoke and swapped the 60e yoke out along with a new 1350 spicer ujoint. GMT900 work trucks have a steel driveshaft with the larger joints. :) If the joint is too long you just cut a little off the end until it is within 1" of bottoming out.

I did the same thing as above still running my stock DS with the 1350 u joint

Ok, I as told the 80e trans was longer then the 60 but I picked up my 80 today and it seems to be the same, if its longer its an inch at the most, now I just need to diger out what yoke i need and ill know if it needs to be shortend.

Why you don't buy a th400 yoke with 1330 or warever your ds ujoint is?
Or look for a coversion joint 1350/1330
This way you not short you ds imho

Im new to this so im not even shur myself, can anyone tell me what the the stock ds ujoint is?

from what truck?
Usually normal comes as 1330, and diesel come as 1350.
At least down wayyy south the border :(
