Tried once with my turd tbi 350 and it just bogged down like a sad turtle. Id like to do it once with some power and at the track but I guess what Im getting at our main concerns when doing this-what breaks?

Tie rods will be the first to go, then cv shafts, then front diff. Transfer case is next to bullet proof, driveshafts are pretty solid. Assuming you're running a NV4500? Those aren't weak.
ya nv4500 should hold any power Ill ever make. I never thought about tie rods but I can definatly see them breaking. Whats the hp limit on a stock 8.25 front diff?
Well there's plenty of SS's running 500+ and holding consistently.
