So you're not gonna run a boost controller on the front mount? Why are you tired of them?
They tend to blow things up... :naughty:
I'm just tired of flipping the switch, calibrating, running hose, etc. I'm a fan of K.I.S.S. (The biggest reason I got out of the military, lol) I'm just gonna run a dedicated hose from the manifold to the wastegate without a boost controller. I did that for a while and it worked great, VERY consistent too. I don't mind only having one boost setting. My foot is my boost controller, haha. Boost controllers just aren't for me
I wouldn't know from experience but I'll take your guys' word for it. So is it the temptation to turn the boost WAY up that blows the engine?
Thats what I was thinking too. It's like gettin a hot chic hittin on you in the bar. What, are you gonna turn it down, or turn it WAYYYY up? I know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna blow this damn thing up!
