I have a 02 ls1 in a 2950 lb s10 (auto) its 100% stock. 3.42s/27" tire .It doesnt spin at all yet my 60 ft are 2.0s ! what could be the problem? it runs strong after the 60 ft. I had a stock 99 ls1 (auto) in a 3300lb. s10 blazer with 3.42s/27" tire and it would turn 1.80s 60 fts. The truck should have a better 60ft then the blazer due to the weight difference. The truck runs 8.40s @ 85 mph in the 1/8 mile and the blazer ran 8.20s @85 mph in the 1/8 mile . any sugestions? The truck should be running 8.0s easy.
The o2s sensors are about mounted 8" lower then the oem location on each side.
the rear o2s are not used.
no converters with 2 1/2 " exhaust.
The maf is stock.
Iat temp stays around 80 degrees.
engine temp stays around 190 degrees.
the o2s read about 940 mv. at wot.
it acts as though the throttle response is slow.
