What size ring gear?

What size ring gear does my 05 GMC Sierra CC 2wd have? Is it the 8.5" or the 7.6" How would I find the difference?

Also, what the spline count on the axles?

Should be 8.625" Spline count is 30.

Thanks for the quick reply. The 8.6 rear is pretty tough. I'm assuming the 7.5/7.6 was in the S10's?
