hi i have a 95 gmc 4x4 pickup it is 350 auto. i have 4 codes on it they are 32,35,43,54. can you all tell me what they are and what they mean and how to fix it?
can some one help me out plz?
32 - EGR system failure - try taking the EGR valve off and cleaning the carbon from the passageways before replacing it.
35 - IAC problem or idle error - check for vaccum leaks before replacing IAC valve.
43 - knock sensor error.
54 - digital EGR solenoid 2 error or fuel pump circuit low voltage
what all could cause code 54? and could 54 cause code 43? or do i just need to replace 43? and it dont idel high and i havent noticed any vacum leaks. i cleaned the egr valve and iac with mopar throtle body cleaner they were realy dirty.
not really sure actually. i always just delete EGR systems. never tried to fix one. lol
how do u delete a egr system and wouldnt that be bad i figure it is on their for a reason and cause the check engine light to come on?
all it does is run exhaust gas back into your cylinders to burn less fuel, thus causing fewer emissions. does nothing good for perdormance. but to delete it you need to turn it off in your ecm.
how do you get that done and now im geting code 32 and 43 what could be the cause of them?
well i thank i found the problem with the code 43. i was gressing in and i desided to check the conection someone had pulled the wire out and just jammed it up their and it wansnt getting a connection so i thank that problem is fixed for now and now if i can get read of the code 32.
well i found a vacum leak today filled it up saturday and added it up and it only got 10.7 miles to the gallon i liked to died. that is bad to me. im going to put plugs in it its got a new air filter and fuel filter. idk what could make it suck the gas like that? could the egr valve make it do that?
